Expat Insights, Empathetic Support: Your Partner Abroad
Ryan E. Cleeren, LCSW, MSW, MBA
Hello, I'm Ryan, and I'm thrilled to connect with you. With over two decades of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), my journey has led me to specialize in helping individuals, families, and couples thrive. As an expat myself, I've walked the path of unique challenges that come with living in a new country and culture. This firsthand understanding drives my passion to support fellow expats on their transformative journeys.
My academic journey includes a BA in Psychology from Georgia State University, an MSW (Magna Cum Laude) from Kennesaw State University, and an MBA (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Georgia. I'm also a certified Gottman Level 2 relationship therapist. However, my approach goes beyond certifications – it's about embracing a holistic perspective that encompasses your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Diversity and cultural competency form the bedrock of my practice, and I'm deeply committed to providing culturally sensitive care to every client. Leveraging my personal experience as an expat and as a parent raising third culture kids, I'm uniquely positioned to empathize with and adeptly address the intricate challenges inherent in adapting to life in a new country and culture.
