How much will this cost?
Fees vary depending on the type of service and session length. Current rates, including counseling, coaching, and couples intensives, are available on the Services page.
Once a treatment plan is established, we will discuss your plan of care and provide estimated costs for the anticipated course of treatment. Because treatment needs may change over time, cost estimates are not guaranteed and may be revised as clinically appropriate.
I do not bill insurance companies directly, but superbills are available upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement. FSA and HSA funds are accepted. All fees are listed in U.S. dollars.

What should I expect during the first session?
The first session focuses on information gathering and getting to know you. We will discuss your history, current concerns, goals, and the challenges you are facing. This initial conversation helps provide a clearer understanding of your needs and allows us to begin developing a plan for treatment.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. All sessions are provided virtually through a secure, encrypted, HIPAA-compliant electronic medical records (EMR) system. You will receive instructions for accessing your session before your appointment.
How long are sessions?
Sessions are typically 60 minutes. Depending on your needs, sessions may be prorated and adjusted accordingly.
Do you accept insurance or provide superbills?
I do not bill insurance companies directly. However, I can provide a superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company directly to confirm your benefits and reimbursement eligibility.
Can I use FSA or HSA funds?
Yes. Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) funds may be used for eligible services. Please check with your plan administrator regarding your specific requirements.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please cancel or reschedule your appointment as soon as you know you will be unable to attend.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment will incur a $50 late-cancellation fee, charged to the card on file.
If you miss your appointment without notice, the full session fee will be charged to the card on file.
Do you work with couples or families?
Yes. I work with individuals, couples, and families. I have extensive experience working with couples and incorporate principles from the Gottman Method into my work. I also work with families—typically parent-child relationships—to improve communication, strengthen connection, and address relationship challenges.
How do I schedule a consultation?
To schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation, please [send an email] or [call]. This brief conversation is an opportunity to discuss your needs, ask questions, and determine whether my services may be a good fit for you.
Is counseling confidential?
Yes. As a licensed and insured provider in the United States, I follow applicable HIPAA requirements, professional ethical standards, and state licensing regulations regarding confidentiality.
There are limited exceptions to confidentiality required by law, such as situations involving serious and imminent risk of harm, suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult, or a valid legal order. These exceptions and your privacy rights will be reviewed as part of the informed-consent process.
What is the difference between counseling and coaching?
Counseling and coaching are related but distinct approaches to personal growth.
Counseling focuses on emotional and psychological well-being. It may help address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and other mental-health-related challenges through evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Coaching is generally future-focused and action-oriented. It supports you in identifying goals, overcoming obstacles, building skills, and creating meaningful change in areas such as relationships, personal development, or professional growth.
Although counseling and coaching have different purposes, both can support personal growth and overall well-being. During your consultation, we can discuss which approach may best fit your current needs.
